I don’t know why I’m always late on the best Alex Gopher remixes. In my search last night for some bangers to fill my ever growing want I came across this remix that was released about two months ago. Just grabbed this fresh off the Boys Noize Records blog. Seems Boys Noize released this bootleg on vinyl wayy back in 2003 and then did a remix of it at some point. It’s definitely one of the better remixes I’ve heard in the past few days of an MJ song. The video above is of Boys Noize last night doing a mashup of Beat It. The action starts at around 3:40 in the video.

Caught this on DJ Mehdi‘s blog this morning. An unreleased remix he did of one of my favorite Crookers tracks Embrace The Martian. Here’s what he has to say about it.

A-Trak asked me to do it for a possible Fools Gold release of this baby, around September 2008. I guess, by the time I got to finish this (which I never really did), them crooks and the Cleveland kid were touching the stratosphere with their ‘Day and Night’ bomb, and thus never dropped ‘The Martian’. It’s not the most inspired remix I ever did, but I still enjoy playing it from time to time. Enjoy—

Steve Angello and AN21 have finally released the bomb known as Flonko. Maybe it’s just me but I thought this track would be a lot bigger than it turned out to be. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome track, but it might have been hyped just a wee bit too much in the house community. Still waiting to see how big Sebastian Ingrosso‘s Meich will be.
