Congorock and the Crookers did a track together a while ago and to celebrate the Crookers reaching 100,000 fans on facebook they’ve decided to give this gem away for free. DSL‘s Stupid Bitches EP is finally here and I have to say it’s a definite improvement over 08′s Invaders EP. The fact that it contains a new DatA remix just makes it that much better. Be sure to pick the whole thing up on Beatport.

This is the only really good quality set rip so far from I Love Techno and it’s definitely worth a few listens. There isn’t as much turntablism from A-Trak as you’ve grown to expect which is perfectly understandable considering it’s a Techno festival. Aside from a bit a scratching here and there he does beat juggle his Oh! remix and at the end finishes off with his always awesome Robot Rock routine.

It seems a bit late to be putting out a new remix of Bounce, even if it is for the UK remixes release, but I gotta give Doorly props for the insane lyrical work. I tried to put the acappella and instrumental on tables to see if I could somehow recreate this. I eventually gave up and put the remix back on repeat.

This morning Bob posted a list of some upcoming remixes (which you can see below) that he’ll be playing at ILT and naturally I figured it would be at least a few months before any of these saw the light of day. Well imagine my delight when I saw Buzz En Direkt post one of the tracks on the list! I can’t really say this remix is “different from The Bloody Beetroots style” since this has sort of been their new style for a while. I do hear handclaps in this one though, so I could see myself getting used to it.
