It’s a cool concept for a video…I sorta like it. Miike Snow’s videos are always a little strange, so I’m sure he had something to do with the idea.

This is pretty much just a Crookers remix of In Search Of.

  • Nate January 13, 2010 at 11:13 am

Actually the Crookers have just said this on their facebook.

“After seeing comments about Remedy being a rmx of a Miike Snow track called “in search of”… we just wanted to let you know that after producing Remedy with us, Miike Snow decided to use a slightly differrent version in their album…”

Remedy came before In Search Of.

Not very Crookerish, but still nice… Miike Snow has yet to convince me!

  • Phrsh January 13, 2010 at 3:29 pm

    What happened with THE CROOKERS?

  • hall January 13, 2010 at 5:26 pm

the song is actually ok.. but this just isnt crookers and im not liking them anymore at all. first moving to dubstep now trying to move mainstream.. shud have stuck to there trademark amazing beats

looking at this trasj just as a track and not a composition by either crookers nor miike snow, it is very very good. I like it. So what if Crookers isn’t fidget house anymore…times change, get over it.

  • Wouter (HypeThemBeats.blogspot.com) January 14, 2010 at 11:53 am

I disagree with all of these comments. Crookers have chosen a new way. You can’t expect an artist to keep producing the same shit, it will only get boring for them. Now that they have a new side they want to produce, they’re doing a damn well job of it! Keep them coming Crookers!

  • Wim January 14, 2010 at 12:02 pm

Bah, used to be a huge crookers fan, but like the past year they’ve let me down with every remix/single they brought..

  • Freddy January 14, 2010 at 12:16 pm

Yeah, Crookers aren’t doing it very good these days, but the last two releases are good, not to say very good.
Hated What’s Up Y’all and all the remixes after it,
hated Put Your Hands On Me (nice video though) even more,
    and the absolute letdown was No Security;
even for a dubstepfan like me, this track was rubbish, and the video that came with it sucked so much.
But We Love Animals made me believe there’s still hope for them, and Remedy only confirmed this. While it isn’t as awesome as We Love Animals, it’s pretty good for their standards the last year.

  • Gorgon January 14, 2010 at 4:19 pm

actually its really good song. because crookers havent made it a shit club track people are annoyed? love that.

  • PA_108 January 14, 2010 at 4:23 pm

    Right on!

Btw… Wait until you hear crookrs edit of the Cassius Rmx of this song… yes the remix of the remix! Not sure yet but could be the freeby of next week

  • Cassidy January 14, 2010 at 10:38 pm

I rather like this track, its a nice change of pace artistically for Crookers. The remixes should be quite amazing in themselves for the people who are scared of the lack of club quality in this track.

    Interesting musical direction.
But the video seemed stupid and pointless. I remembered a clip of stress, but it is fully consistent with the name and carried a certain sense. Stress the mood and explained the urgent problems.

  • Japie January 17, 2010 at 1:52 am

The clip is better than the track.
And it did me also think of the Stress video.

  • jelle January 24, 2010 at 9:14 am

if you listen to the drums in this song you can hear the crookers are still sticking to a part from there style but i think i heard the drums on this song before can somebody remind me?

  • Sjoeff January 26, 2010 at 11:31 am

hm don’t like this one, just as we love animals. both rubbish.
    old crookers are much better.
