Kavinsky has been hard at work on his album for months now and I guess he figured it was time to give everyone a taste of it. Nightcall is the first song Kavinsky has done vocals for which he pulls off splendidly. Then we have Breakbot come in and give his usual ultra chill remix treatment. I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m driving at night I try and blast Kavinsky tracks. This EP should tide me over til the album drops later this year. Nightcall is out March 26th on Record Makers.

I’ve officially declared this week Disco Week here on Chemical Jump. Which means I’ll be posting a few more disco related tunes over the next few days. This one is a new Le Principle track that they gave away free yesterday via their record label Solid Bump Records. I don’t know what it is about Le Principle, but they never seem to disappoint me with anything they’ve done. I’ve listened to almost all their bootlegs and couldn’t find a single one I didn’t like. Le Principle are lighting a fire under the Chicago disco house scene and it’s never sounded better.

Steed Lord has kindly sent me over this exclusive new remix to share with you all. I really didn’t think this song needed anymore remixes but Steed Lord has proved me wrong once again. They’ve delivered a bouncy, chopped up remix that can only be fully appreciated if you have your speakers turned up to 11.

They’ve also been hard at work this year on their new EP called Heart II Heart. The first single Bed Of Needles is set to drop in two weeks with remixes from SonicC, AudioFun and AKS & Syndaesia. Expect the AKS & Syndaesia remix to kick some serious dubstep ass.

This is a slight step away from the usual electro I post, but I just couldn’t resist. I got an email about a week ago from a friend of Mick Match (Mix Chopin is a side project of his) telling me I should check out his work. Sadly, I was horribly busy at the time and totally forgot to listen to him until he emailed me again with some disco funk tracks that won me over. I’m such a sucker for anything funky like this is unbelievable. The bass riff in Ecliptic at 1:20 got me hooked the second I heard it.
