Honestly, I don’t like the fact that I’m posting a David Guetta track, but since it has Afrojack attached to it and it’s actually somehow not too bad, I figured I’d give it a break. As far as I can figure, this is about the 4th track the two have done together. There was Louder Than Words, Toyfriend, Lunar, their Sweat remix and of course that one remix we all remember from earlier this year that unbelievably won a grammy (seriously, Axwell & Dirty South were robbed). I’m really enjoying Lunar though. It doesn’t have as much dutch in it than you’d expect from a normal Afrojack track, yet it doesn’t feel too commercial like the kind of tracks Guetta’s been putting out.
David Guetta & Afrojack – Lunar (Original Mix) (192 kbps)

It was released on EMI France yesterday, so those of you living in France will be able to pick it up on Beatport, but the rest of the world will have to wait for now.

I’ve heard Afrojack playing this tune, he announced it was a new track by him and David Guetta. I was happily surprised, it’s better than the regular commercial shit David Guetta has been releasing lately.

Earmilk night rumours has a 320kbs version. i like it personally, its more hard hitting than all that pop shit guetta has been producing.

I don’t understand your beef with David Guetta going mainstream? So what? He’s making music he loves (while also putting out DJ sets) and making lots of money and fans and opening up the electro/house world to millions of new people. Afrojack just had a #1 pop song with Pitbull and Ne-Yo did he not? What’s the difference?

i don’t believe that it’s Guetta, because the song is really good. songs like daft punk.

Just because Guetta makes poppy music now doesn’t make him bad. The dude is a legend and has producing good music for 15+ years.
