Radio (Bastille Edit) Posted by: Nate in Disco, Electronic

It’s always more a matter of when, not if someone would recreate the next unreleased Duck Sauce track. We now have that thanks to Bastille. Unlike a lot of other artists when Barbra first came out, Bastille went back and using the same sample from The Member’s Radio they managed to remake the track quite nicely. The baseline seems a bit different, but I’m actually glad they didn’t try to copy the track exactly because it usually doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as the original.

Duck Sauce – Radio (Bastille Edit) (320 kbps)
(Removed by request)

Edit: Sorry guys, apparently The Members have no idea how copyright law works.

Really love the vocals of the sample. :) And the edit sounds great, can’t wait for the complete Duck Sauce album.

Hey, so The Members are not too happy about this edit, and they took it off our soundcloud. We’re not allowed to give it out, but I’d bet if you use your wits (#google) you can find a download link somewhere.

This track has sampled our track without our permission and is nothing to do with Duck Sauce…. Please remove it from this server or we will take legal action…

Hey JC Carroll, no one gives a shit about your crappy song. The only reason its getting any attention is because of the people remixing it into something worth listening to. Go fuck yourself.

JC Carroll is an idiot. Bastille was progressing music by remixing it.. where music should be headed. Anyone who wants music to be theirs and theirs only clearly doesn’t love music for what it is, and is a major sellout.

Also instead of being super anal maybe you could’ve worked something out with Bastille so he could give you credit for “your track”.

JC’s friend wants to let you know not only are you wrong but people deserve credit for their work.
Please don’t grow up. We don’t need you. Go steal a painting from a museum you punk coward.

    • Anonymous August 23, 2011 at 12:28 pm

JC has friends? I would have though he was dead by now.

    • menaia August 23, 2011 at 7:11 pm

Right, as if stealing a painting from a museum is the same as sampling. You shit head. Your song is still there, the painting would be gone. Face palm

Wrong again, JC is an obvious divine intervention to bring light upon Jesus Christ (JC) in this obvious time of crisis, you are wrong to contest the will of Jesus Christ

I cant believe the nerve of this guy, he’s getting awesome and FREE publicity where otherwise he wouldnt, and Bastille is making people all over happy so why would you object to that? Im guessing they are doing the same thing to Duck Sauce.

P.s good on you Bastille, we dropped it last weekend and it went down a treat!

  • DereK August 23, 2011 at 3:31 pm

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is just a bootleg and Bastille isn’t making any money off this, so I don’t get how this violates an copyright laws?

    • tom August 28, 2011 at 6:27 am

this is generally true, but gnerally its not sued for is because as previously mentioned why go and sue when your getting free publicity..etc and it is generally seen as very arrogant move to sue Especially if its just a sample. in the case of a avicii thats a different story that was the whole fucking song. honestly this is ridiculous “the members radio” and JC carrol. i now know that if i see your name on any songs in the future ill be sure not to buy it! you should be ashamed of yourselves if you see your music as a business over an art. he was sharing your music to more people and you got credit for it and you still winged….. Chemical jump i think you should remove the hyperlink to them.

this is what it says on soundcloud when you upload a track… Please, respect the community guidelines and only upload tracks with permission from the rights holders.

When you guys make a record and some-one cuts it up and gives it away for nothing without you permission you might know how that feels….

@tom Especially if its just a sample. in the case of a avicii thats a different story that was the whole fucking song.. it is the whole song… I dont hear any other songs on there……

Guys if you wanna give away your music for free please feel free to do so… just dont give away my music….

    Now calm down everybody….
