One of the best compilation releases in a while was definitely Dim Mak’s New Noise Vol. 1 last week. I’ve had the promo for a while so I had a chance to play most of these tracks and really get the feel for all of them. It was pretty hard to choose my favorite out of all the great songs from The Subs, Blatta & Inesha, and SonicC, but My Life by Nom De Strip, TJR & Sue Cho started to stand out after a while. I think it’s because it reminds me a bit of a Dada Life track with a little less sausage.
