Congorock is back again, after only a couple of months this time, with a new single. If you thought his last original Sirius was big, Ivory completely towers over and dwarfs it in a second. After listening to it a couple of times I’ve come to think that it would fit perfectly as the official war cry of an amazonian tribe if they had access to loud speakers. And as an added bonus we also get an always great remix by The Bloody Beetroots, which I’m sure was in trade for the remix Congorock did on Church of Noise. I really love the little piano bits in the Bloody Beetroots remix too. It feels very natural to the song even though it’s not a part of the original.

Nah, don’t like it. Too slow, didn’t recognise either Congorock’s either TBB’s touches in both songs. Definately bad imo.

I’ve been looking for this song since I saw him live @ Bootshaus Cologne few months ago *.*
this track
THE BANGER!
well, i believe that ivory works only at a club; the bass is just soul-squeezing.

I don’t really like the style of electro that Congorock produces, I find it too shallow. I always prefer a very big and meaty sound that manages to keep the bass and this just never seems to do it for me, I find it bland and plain, same with all other similarly styled tracks (like all or at least most of the tracks that Artistic Raw uses in his “Drughouse” mixes).. but I must say, that Bloody Beetroots remix is pure gold. It makes the song absolutely amazing for me.
