Hey Nate, what happened to the Tshirt giveaway contest from Xmas???
Bracha January 22, 2012 at 4:12 pm
is it just me or is The 80′s (feat. Angger Dimas) – Steve Aoki the same song as Steve Jobs (Original Mix) – Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas? like, exactly identical?
Simon Le Breuilly January 22, 2012 at 5:39 pm
As far as I know the song was renamed as a tribute to Steve Jobs after he passed away. But yeah, it’s the same song.

Wow, the intro to that Tommy Trash song is a BLATANT recycling of the intros from his remix of Carry Me Home (here: http://youtu.be/wuYR44P-9Yw) and Jona Vark (here: http://youtu.be/hjoEWMDgd7Y) put over each other.
He has done this over and over again. I’ve heard him rehash parts of his old songs in his new tracks CONSTANTLY. Nate even mentioned this in an earlier IJLTH on a different one of his “new tracks.”
Is this really considered acceptable?? I have lost all respect for this guy.

HOLY SHIT THAT TOMMY TRASH TRACK
tom January 24, 2012 at 4:17 am
The track was titled “The 80′s” on the leaked version of the album, when the actual album came out it had been re-named “Steve Jobs” as they were still deciding what to call it, when it got leaked. But the track is regardless one of the the only good ones on the Wonderland album!

There are some good tunes here but jeez, the masters on some of these just ruin them. The Steed Lord remix in particular is just crushed into oblivion. =\
