Nick Hook/Luka Tycon – Cabarete

Nick Hook rocked the shit out of it as part of the party animals that were Men Women and Children and now gets down with a little group called Cubic Zirconia.  He’s also a really fucking cool dude.  I’m vibing this tune.  Kind of simple, but a nice sound.  It’s certainly new and doesn’t sound like some of the stuff that is starting to get a little stale.  Even some of the shit I really like is starting to get a little stale.  I think Grum called it conservative dance music.  He most likely said this in a conversation he was surely having on Twitter with Alex Metric, Lenno, Too Many Sebastians and others just making me really want to be a part of this group of all-stars that just jaw at each other about how horrendous Steve Aoki is — very.  It’s also pretty entertaining reading if you’re looking to kill a few ticks.  Anyway, it’s not a good trend.
