Dog Blood – Next Order Posted by: Cliff in Electronic, Everything Category, House

Fine.  Take-backs.  Take-backs on Skrillex.  Well, okay, maybe not complete take-backs.  I still don’t really like his solo stuff.  Or at all, really.  Dog Blood though— yes.  Like.  On facefuck, in real life, like more than a friend like— Like.  Guess he just needed Boys Noize to modulate him a little.  My apologies for having overlooked this one.  Sheesh, give a guy a break, would ya?  You were right, I was wrong, thank you, Rob.

hit the nail on the head. it’s boys noize production with skrillex noises, but i don’t care, it’s good.

Well, although this has actually been touted as BNR x OWSLA not just Boys Noize x Skrilly, you’re basically right. Considering that they probably worked on it by emailing it back and forth, this track is definitely the product of the BNR guys (my guess is Boys Noize writing the hooks and someone housier like probably Strip Steve stretching it out into its arrangement) mainly working on the composition and the OWSLA folks (but probably mainly just Skrillex) on production duties. Though I bet each camp was involved in the whole process, I think that’s basically how it was split.

As long as we’re doing take-backs, I take back what I said about this blog going downhill.

What happened to this blog? Did somebody else take over? Lately it’s been nothing but ancient releases, childish write ups and inconsistent updates. Hello dancing astronaut.

Yeesh. So much to respond to. Uh, yeah. Someone else “took over.” (More like was thrown the reins before the coachman jumped off as the carriage approached the edge of a cliff.) Ancient releases? Really? Admittedly—as in like, in the posts I admit it— I’m behind on posting some of the stuff mostly due to time restraints as I didn’t expect to be running the blog and really expected to be an occasional contributor. Other stuff like the Dog Blood thing, I admittedly overlooked because of my predisposition to Skrillex. Sue me. I fucked up. Actually though, the four prior posts were posted on the day of release, sometimes within hours of the release so “ancient” might not be the right word. One could even say it’s the wrong word. Another one might even say that was a stupid stupid thing to say and that you’re a dumb dummy. Which brings me to the childish aspect— Sure. Maybe. I try to stay young. The Dancing Astonaut bit has me confused. Like the site? What do you mean? Explain yourself.

Ancient meaning that this track has been out for a while, saw it for one/two weeks ago. This blog is not up to date and relevant anymore if u are searching for news. i know u do your best but maybe you should do a well written post about the situation of this blog and what has happened and search for some contributers instead of doing everything on your own, because that is not working.
