Tonight’s forecast: A Freeze is coming. Posted by: Cliff in Disco, Everything Category, Fucksongs, Synthy Bliss

Spare me any bullshit on this one.  Luke Million is the best.  Love that one track sampling Arnie wasn’t good enough so he went ahead and did it again.  Freeze, Batman.  Freeze wharhouwah—What? What the fuck is he saying right there?

    …not digging this at all

i think most of us would prefer tracks more like this

  • JimmySpanks September 8, 2012 at 4:19 am

Dude is this a joke? This site has gone to the shitter, horrible, you suck… nate is a lazy quitter, you guys love Glenn Rices Penis

    • Cliff September 8, 2012 at 5:24 am

Am I dude? Depends what you mean by joke. This is by far the best comment someone has ever left. Congratulations. You’re smart. And interesting. And I want to know you better. Nate should be capitalized. Nicely done rhyming shitter with quiter. I don’t know who Glenn Rices is but, I assume it should be a possessive apostrophe and not pluralized Rices and it is very suspicious as to why you would capitalize Penis. Certainly telling along with the name JimmySpanks. You will miss out on everything cool in life.

      • Cliff September 8, 2012 at 5:27 am

Ha I misspelled quitter! You lowered the IQ of everyone on the internet with that last comment, Jimmy.

      • Paul September 13, 2012 at 1:23 pm

Don’t let those hater come so close to you. They are everywhere and are typical boring crowd that can only listen to one certain genere, even a little alteration is killing their brains and they have to scream it into everyones face.

  • Rupert September 10, 2012 at 5:53 pm

This blog sucks and now off my bookmark list.

    • Cliff September 10, 2012 at 6:52 pm

You’re the kind of person who tells the cashier at Starbucks that they’re in danger of losing a customer cause they don’t have Pumpkin Spice Lattes. They couldn’t give less of a fuck. Realize the absurdity of what you’re doing. I care more about the prosperity of Starbucks than I do of this blog. Lo, you’re now free to head back to YouTube and Twitter to make racist, sexist and anti-semitic remarks because that is the kind of person you are.

This being said. The blog is probably dead. I too much shit going on to try and run a blog that isn’t mine and ultimately isn’t something I’m interested in doing. It isn’t my job. I don’t really know why I felt obligated to keep the blog on life support when Nate left. It clearly isn’t my niche anyway. So, unless Nate makes a return, everyone can follow in Rupert’s brave footsteps and take ChemicalJump off their Bookmark list. Thanks to those of you who wrote indignant, derisive little comments. You provided an incredible amount of entertainment for me and my friends. Reading what you thought to be interesting, influential comments was truly adorable. Thanks to those who were decent and saw past the length of their noses. Celebrate yourselves! You’re not shitty! You probably have real lives and draw happiness from real interactions with real life people! I’m sorry I don’t have the time or energy to keep up the blog. Really, I did enjoy finding new music that I actually liked and posting it for those who were into to it also. Ah, interpersonality. For those of you who deem it necessary to respond with something clever and dickish, practice some self-restraint. E-mail Nate. Maybe he’ll be psyched to hear there is demand for his immaculate taste in electro jams. Au revoir,

Cliff, don’t listen to all those close-minded fags. Personally, I think you’re doing a great job on the blog. Most of the people who follow this blog just can’t listen to music unless it whomps or has a “drop”. But the people who like real music, and are open minded enough to actually appreciate it, will love your posts! Fuck them all, you’ve posted so much good shit (this song included, I fucking love it!) and it’s about time this site got a genre makeover if you ask me, even if it’s only until Nate comes back, if he ever does. So keep doing what you’re doing man, and hopefully eventually ChemicalJump will be rid of people like JimmySpanks and Rupert, that’s all it needs. Keep up the good music, I’m backin’ you 100%!!!

Geez, I’m not a big fan of this track either and yea, quite a couple of the latest posts have not been my type of music, but it was the same exact deal when Nate was still posting (what happened to that bloke btw?)
It’s the same deal on every bloody music weblog, you’re not going to like everything and if you do want that kind of music blog, make your own and post your own music and we’d be happy to listen to your fav’s ( not even sarcastic or whatever, music is for sharing right?)
Some of your music we’ll like, others we won’t and we probably will criticize you for a lot of posts as well but hey it’s the internet, people come here to complain

Some of your favorites will be songs that I don’t like and vice versa, that’s taste in everything.
There is no such thing as “good music” good music doesn’t exist, people just appreciate certain types of music above others but just because you like different types of music than me or Cliff, does that make my/his taste bad in general?!

I will leave you now with some wise words of Mr. Nate himself:

“I miss the time when people used to enjoy music instead of hate on everything they didn’t like.”

And that just sums everything up doesn’t it?

  • eddieb. September 10, 2012 at 9:08 pm

Cliff don’t leave! I’ve been having such a great time with the blog since you’ve started posting. Although I’ve had it bookmarked for awhile, only recently have I actually started checking frequently and truly enjoying the music being posted. I know the hate you’ve been receiving here is enough to make anyone quit, but you have to realize I think your audience is just wrong. Why don’t you start your own blog? Build up a new following of people who genuinely respect and enjoy the music you post, I’m sure it would be much more rewarding and keep you motivated to post. Let me know what you’re thinking of doing!

    your friend,
    ed

I just wanted to say this blog is for the dj who must have a varied playlist and not (only) for electro fanboys …
So i hope you realy meant “au revoir” and “adieu” Because having your point of view and digging (and nate’s to) was sometimes realy rewarding, even if it’s an ungrateful job.

(this cool party track has a great power of interaction with the public by the way).

  • Sam B September 11, 2012 at 4:54 pm

Cliff, may I suggest you spreading out the workload if it’s becoming a bit too much?

This blog has been a great supply of tunes of all genres of dance music for the past few years I’ve been following it. Your posts have recently got me into disco house (a genre I never felt a connection with). Sure the purebreed electro heads will complain they aren’t getting bangers 100% of the time, but genre diversity is what this blog was is about!

It would a shame for such a great blog to end this way. Would it be possible at all for guest selections to be made? I’m sure there’s enough dedicated CJ followers around to make it happen, hopefully this would relieve pressure off yourself and if he’s still around, Nate.

From a long time UK follower, keep your chip up and keep posting!

    Sam B

this is literally the most perfect thing i have ever listened to
I don;t understand how anyone could not love this

  • paradox8 September 12, 2012 at 1:51 am

Lana Del Ray – Video Games (Adrian Lux & Blende Remix) absolutely epic.

  • curv4k September 13, 2012 at 3:12 am

I’ll have to agree with a lot of you; I’ve been disappointed with most of the posts over the last month or so. What’s happened to CJ?

  • Wojtek September 14, 2012 at 12:59 pm

You gotta be kiddin me… It’s a music blog people. Been coming here for years. Learning how to DJ I’d come here for tracks to play with cuz I adore electro. In fact my old sets are all made of tracks I heard here.
It’d be a shame for this blog to end.
It never crossed my mind to complain that the tracks posted here aren’t good anymore. Quite the contrary. I come here to hear stuff the main stream blogs won’t pick up. I mean, this guy finds hot shit on SoundCloud where there’s only 38945346 producers trying to be heard.

Anyway.. I don’t even know if I said anything coherent. Cliff, Nate.. whoever else is on the team.. keep at it and Thank You.

    Just so everyone is up to scratch;

The premise of this track was a 50 second bit for a radio show in Australia. The presenters wanted Luke to make another track featuring Arnold. The presenters threw down the gauntlet and asked him to make a track made entirely of Mr Freeze grabs from the Batman movie.

Luke million played the 50 second production during a festival and people liked it, thus the birth of the extended version.

It was made from a joke, so take it with a grain of salt bro’s.
