What the hell happened to Nate? And who the fuck is Hendrick and Cliff? This website had so much potential and now it’s shit.

You forgot to include Paul. You should hate Paul too. My question is do you hate the blog because Nate’s name isn’t at the top of every post or is it the music being posted or just all of it?

Ha I’m pretty over the asinine responses like this, but I figure I may as well jump in here just because of how surprised I am that the comment came on this post. On a track like the Luke Million – Ice Ice Arnie one, I expected people to lose their minds with incredulity that I had posted an electro/dance track that asked you to have a sense of humor and to stop taking yourself as a “DJ” so fucking seriously for one moment. Here’s the hard truth—deejays are whack. They are very unimpressive unless you’re just out of your mind as a scratch deejay who beat juggles at the same time that you literally juggle five records in the air before you change them out. This is about the only thing that would impress me as a “deejay” purely. We give a shit about deejays because they are producers first and foremost. Other than that, it’s nice if a deejay plays songs that you like and it’s fun to deejay because you then have free reign to play whatever the fuck you want. Have fun with it. Don’t tear your hair out when a blog doesn’t post a track that you think is like totally going to get you fucked when you play it at that cool sorority party. Instead, just check it again next time and hope for a better one. Then maybe don’t say anything shitty—try and restrain yourself—and stop reading the fucking blog if it continually disappoints. I also wonder what potential you think the blog had that we’ve stripped it of. Did you think it was going to be the next big thing until we came along?

This post though sounds very much to me like something Nate would have posted. If we would have posted under his name, I can only assume you’d have had to quickly change your pants after all the excitement no matter what the track was. He’s your revenant. Maybe a brilliant marketing ploy. Take notes. The fact is there is much more of a variety being posted here now than there ever was before. I would argue that it’s a good thing, but you might just really love to hear the same shit over and over and conversations with you are likely dreadful. Pay attention to how many people tell you they’re tired or who suddenly have to go to the bathroom when you’re mid-conversation. I bet it’s often.

This is also my sense of humor. To write responses to silly remarks like this one and try and have fun with it. Call it therapy. It should also be a little nice that you’re getting responses, I think. I’ve been pretty sure to respond to almost everyone who has commented on any of the posts I’ve put out. Good or bad. It’s nice to have a community with like-minded people. Or so I’d assume. It’s kind of why you’d scour the blog community. It’s fun to chat. There’s this thing called communication that can be a delightful little experience, don’t you think. At least take the time to comment on the tracks you do like if you’re going to take time out of your day to say how horrible you think something is.

Also, it’s who ARE Hendrick and Cliff. Cheers, dude.

    the question is, where’s Nate?

  • Paul October 6, 2012 at 8:11 pm

The fact is Nate is still around, but he stopped posting a couple months ago… Nate for a long time has been doing the job of an entire team posting on this blog by himself. He’s kinda let it go for the moment, and well we don’t know for how long.

We’re not saying he’s gone forever, for all we know nate might just start posting like he used to tomorrow, but for the moment being we are just three dudes trying keep this blog alive.

We don’t want to see something that did have potential die completely…

So, follow us, hate us, do whatever the fuck you want with your free time.

If you want to hear what we have to offer come back and see us sometime.

I dunno, I kinda like the new guys. I actually like coming to this site and seeing new shit being posted.

Not to mention so far they seem to have pretty decent taste.

Good job guys, thanks for the tunes :)

I personally like the new stuff. Hell, I didn’t even notice Nate had stopped posting and Cliff was instead. I only figured it out when I was checking the comments, and shit on the Lollapops post and that was his 5th post in a row since Nate had last posted (the Rocksteady one I think).

I think you guys are like the girls that flip the fuck out when Facebook changes something, and are like, “Do not want! I want the old stuff back!” Live with it guys. Music, and people evolve and shit. Why can’t a blog.

Oh, and you guys have been on a rampage with the posts. I haven’t been able to listen to all of them so good job with all the new content Cliff, Hendrick, and Paul. Hope, you guys stick around longer than the the floozy’s who are hating on you.
