I’m sure most of you are familiar with Gonzales‘ work on his cover for Boys Noize & Erol Alkan’s Waves. Well he just legally change his name to Chilly Gonzales and in honor of his new “authetnic” voice he’s released the first ever piano mixtape. Here’s what he has to say about it.

You know those rap beats and electro songs – the ones with almost nothing in them? Tipsy, Grindin’, A Millie, Rollin’ and Scratchin’, Single Ladies? Well, I go all Liberace on these beats with my piano and my orchestra. Claude Von Stroke, 50 Cent, Kelly Clarkson, Rocky Balboa and Gonzo himself all make cameos.

His cameo at the end talking about Soft Power is just magic.

Well you heard it in that mix released last week and now the collaboration between The Cool Kids and The Bloody Beetroots has been released leaked. Definitely what I was expecting from The Cool Kids but I’m hoping bobby isn’t moving too far towards MSTRKRFT territory and featuring more rap in his songs. Either way it’s a killer track which I’ll be playing out a lot.

So this new Andy Milonakis song has apparently been blowing up on blogs for the past few days. I personally wasn’t really feelin’ it till I heard the Rusko remix this morning. It’s still not as great as I know it could be, but at least it’s not horrible.
