I know what you’re thinking seeing this, ugh another Levels remix, I have about 20 different ones myself, but this one hits the spot more than just about all of them. Hardwell premiered this last month on his weekly radio show and finally decided to release it for free yesterday. Unlike the Cazzette bootleg, Hardwell chose to go in another direction with the breakdown and not incorporate much of the original Levels melody after the drop which is something I rather like.

And they’re back again with another huge hit. If it’s one thing Bingo Players know how to do well it’s own every single genre they touch. Electro? No problem. House? You got it. Maybe a little progressive? Easy. While I don’t think I’d want to see them venture into Dubstep, they’d probably own that too. Mode is one of those tracks that you hear while you’re getting a drink at the bar and you turn around to suddenly be mesmerized and entranced by it’s beat. No doubt I’ll be humming this catchiness for the next few weeks.

Bart B More and Rubix did a track together? Yes. Did it just get released yesterday? Yes. Do you have a good excuse for not having it on repeat already? No. But really, it’s seriously a good jam by the two. I never thought Bart B More would team up with a disco house producer to put out something so solid like this and honestly now that I’ve heard it, I wish he would more often. Obvious elements from each producer are clearly heard in the track which makes it that much more fun to listen to. Now if we could only get his collab with TAI to be released in a timely manor..

The mini-mix comp is officially closed and I couldn’t have hoped for a better turnout! In total I now have to listen to 94 mixes!! I’m pretty sure some official remix competitions don’t even get that many entries, so I’ll be taking the next week or so to go through all of them and pick my 3 favorites then have you all vote on the winner.

As sure as the sun rises each day, you can count on some sets from I Love Techno being streamed over satellite and recorded for your listening pleasure each year. And unfortunately as with the setting sun, some of the sets weren’t aired completely. But that shouldn’t stop you from getting up each morning, especially on a morning like this one!

I’d personally say my favorite out of all these is a very close tie between Drop The Lime, Knife Party, and Boys Noize.

Well the first week of the mini-mix comp is over and I’m extremely happy to see we already have 29 entries! I’m expecting a lot more as we get closer to the close and so far some of the mixes are sounding excellent!
