What’s everyone think about this? I’m waiting to make my final judgement till after it’s released so I can hear over all the bloody crowd noise they threw in the video, but early impression is I think I’ll like it, a lot.

How bloody awesome is this movie gonna be!?!

My first Coachella was way more intense than I expected and It almost didn’t happen.

I wasn’t even planning on going to Coachella this year, but as luck would have it I entered a contest for a ticket on Sunday and Monday they called and said I had won. I felt great until Thursday when it all started.. The problem was they hadn’t emailed my ticket until Thursday afternoon as I was driving up. I really didn’t think to stop print it out on the way since I’ve been to other concerts where they can scan it on your phone and let you in. So I pull into Coachella at 11 I get hit with the bad news. They tell me I need a physical ticket in order for them to give me a wristband. My friend Dan and I then set off walking for a few miles (and later catching a cab) on a journey through Indio at midnight looking for a place to print my ticket.

We eventually gave up at around one after trying 2 gas stations, a Wal-Mart, a hotel, and an IHOP. Stopping at one of the only hotels with a vacancy, we asked the manager if we could print the ticket out. To our surprise he was very helpful, way more helpful than anyone we’d come across that night (he even gave us 2 cans pepsi!) He was almost… too helpful. Sure enough, returning to Coachella the next day with a freshly printed ticket, I was rejected… it had already been scanned. “Impossible!” I said. I hadn’t opened it anywhere but the hotel last night!!… It took a few minutes for it to sink in, but I realized what had happened. The douchebag manager had reprinted the ticket and most likely sold it. Looking at my bank statement today I know for a fact that it was the hotel manager. $70 room charges don’t just get reversed for no reason.

But after all this I was able to explain my situation to the lovely woman at the problems booth and she took care of everything.

So here we go! I took lots of video so this will be more of a video recap than a written one. All these videos and pictures here are mine, but if you have some good ones feel free to leave them in the comments! And as a bonus, if you can find me in anybody else’s pictures of Coachella, I’ll send you free stickers! (I was mainly in the front row at Sahara)

This is what we’ve all been waiting for. Domino drops March 23rd.

I was always more into this song than Animal so I’m glad it’s finally getting released as a single. Sinden has done a fine job once again on the remix end. Although I wish the vocal bit at 3:30 would repeat more. Also be sure to check out the video for Silvia embedded after the jump.
