FUKKK OFFF ALREADY Posted by Nate in: Electronic

What is it that makes a rave.. a rave? Is it the alcohol, drugs, overdrive, noise, neon lights or party people? Everyone probably has a different opinion but for me you can’t beat that loud noise. And while you can pick up the official remixes on beatport, this remix by Le Castle Vania delivers the goods all the same.

Christmas Is Coming Posted by Nate in: Electronic

So Christmas is right around the corner and what better time to post some holiday songs!

First off we have a little diddy that Bloody Beetroots producer Bob Rifo did last year. I can’t remember for the life of me where I got it, but it definitely has bob’s touch.

Bob Rifo – White Christmas!

and a great track from now deceased electronic pop group Girlsareshort. For those of you know don’t know, Girlsareshort was made up of one half of MSTRKRFT (AL-P).

Girlsareshort – Snowflake

I Heart Teo Posted by Nate in: Electronic

My dear dear friend Teo will be playing The Key Club in hollywood on January 9th. Doors open at 8pm and it’s 15+ (underage can buy tickets at the door). Tickets will be avaliable soon on ticketmaster. He’ll also be djing the after party so this will definitely be something you won’t want to miss. And since I know people like to get a taste of what they’ll be seeing live I’ve got a single from his first record do out in 09 and a 30 minute mix he put together not too long ago.

Designer Drugs Posted by Nate in: Electronic

In some ways Designer Drugs reminds me a lot of The Bloody Beetroots. They’ve been cranking out remix after remix and for the most part just giving them away for free. THESE ARE THE DJS I LIKE. The Bloody Beetroots started out doing this and now remixes are few and far between. Granted they DJ practically every night, but it always saddens me when DJs start doing more live gigs and stop producing those epic remixes. Thankfully these guys aren’t there yet and we have a remix of a Velvet Code song to grace our ears with.

Velvet Code – Say You Love Me (Designer Drugs Remix)

Bonus: My favorite Designer Drugs remix

IAMX – Spit It Out (Designer Drugs Remix)
