I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed nearly every one of Modek‘s remixes. His latest was just released Monday on Blatta & Inesha‘s new EP My Lady Don’t Mind. Like a lot of Belgian producers, Modek deals in heavy hitting beats that combine the perfect amount of bass and rhythm creating tracks that will overjoy any dancefloor. But don’t take my word for it, listen yourself. Definitely don’t sleep on the rest of the EP either. The Gooseflesh remix is also a killer.

The 100th I’ll Just Leave This Here post brings with it something a little special! I hope you guys have enjoyed looking at Chemical Jump this past year and a half because it’s all about to change, kinda. I started work on Chemical Jump v3.0 yesterday and while it isn’t a total redesign (keep the logo and basic layout for now) it’ll incorporate some cool new visual aspects. Blatta & Inesha have finally released their long awaited track Pet Massage. I’ve felt a little underwhelmed with a few of their releases lately. Where Is It? with Gigi Barocco and Pigeon Flu with Mustard Pimp are still my favorite originals by them and while I haven’t had a lot of time for Pet Massage to really sink in, I think it could be a contender. Also be sure to check out the PHNTM and LaTourette remixes, they’re pretty hard.

I’ve been really looking forward to this Mustard Pimp / Blatta & Inesha track for a while, but after listening to it I’m not sure I like that Beach Boys sample.

MayBB’s first release finally dropped yesterday. As you know the short tour edit of Touring in NY has been killing it all over the place for about a month and now that the official release is upon us we get the original version that’s extra DJ friendly. Personally, I don’t think the beat goes too well with the rest of the song. It feels like the short edit came first then later on they decided to extended it. I still love this song to death though. It’s just me being picky.
