First off, I wanna wish a big happy birthday to the wonderful and gorgeous girl above. Jamaica has been making quite the scene lately in the music world. Having their most recent work I Think I Like U 2 produced by Xavier de Rosnay of Justice, music video directed by So-Me, and the song already featured in a car commercial definitely helped things. Personally I love Breakbot’s remix, but not as much as I love the original. It’s still brings a nice feel good 70′s vibe though.

Jaymo and Andy George have been sitting in for Annie for the past week or two and Breakbot happened to stopped by last Friday with one of those famous 5 minute Annie Mac minimixes. I almost didn’t realize how much funk could be packed into only 5 minutes until I heard this. Sadly there’s no tracklist for this amazing mix. Kavinsky has been hard at work on his album for months now and I guess he figured it was time to give everyone a taste of it. Nightcall is the first song Kavinsky has done vocals for which he pulls off splendidly. Then we have Breakbot come in and give his usual ultra chill remix treatment. I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m driving at night I try and blast Kavinsky tracks. This EP should tide me over til the album drops later this year. Nightcall is out March 26th on Record Makers.

Another busy week down. The Editors giveaway is going much better than I expected! I can’t even begin to explain how crazy busy week this week has been. If you sent me something on SoundCloud I promise I’m not ignoring you!
