Ed Banger just released their latest compilation that features b-sides from Justice, Sebastian, Breakbot, Carte Blanche and a Hey Today! remix of Busy P’s track Procrastinator. It seems kind of crazy that they call some of these b-sides, except for maybe the Civilization demo, since they feel like completely solid tracks. It’s interesting to hear in the Civilization demo how it went from a simple demo with lyrics and melody to what all know now. The Carte Blanche track Jack On The Moon also caught my attention. I’ve been hearing it in videos I’ve seen of them playing so I’m glad it’s finally been released.

Some of you my recognize this last track. It’s actually an old remix JFK did and briefly uploaded to his myspace a little over 2 years ago. Do to legal reasons he wasn’t able to release it then, but now it seems all is well as he’s given it away freely in glorious 320kbps. The new brainchild of Riton and DJ Mehdi had internet life breathed into it today. The duo will be touring Europe and the US in May/June playing strictly house music. Last year seemed more like the year for super-duos, but the way things looking 2010 may bring the thunder. Their first EP is set to drop this May on Ed Banger.
