Congorock is back again, after only a couple of months this time, with a new single. If you thought his last original Sirius was big, Ivory completely towers over and dwarfs it in a second. After listening to it a couple of times I’ve come to think that it would fit perfectly as the official war cry of an amazonian tribe if they had access to loud speakers. And as an added bonus we also get an always great remix by The Bloody Beetroots, which I’m sure was in trade for the remix Congorock did on Church of Noise. I really love the little piano bits in the Bloody Beetroots remix too. It feels very natural to the song even though it’s not a part of the original.

Brand spanking new Congorock single was released yesterday. He’s put out several remixes in the past few months, but this is his first new single since he changed our lives (mine at least) with Babylon. Sirius takes on a much more intense sound than Babylon has which I’m really into. Fingers crossed that his whole album will be similar to this. I’m definitely ready for another life changing experience and can’t wait for it to drop. He. Will. Destroy.

Another steller week around these parts! I know I downloaded at least 5 EP’s from Beatport which is a new record for me. Anyway, I’d like to tell you all that the new t-shirts are officially coming. I sent off all the info to the designer earlier this week to get things started. I’ll unveil the design in April and you’ll hopefully be able to pick them up at the end of May. Seeing The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 set on Thursday night in El Paso was definitely the highlight of this week. I can’t tell you how good it felt to hear all the old remixes that really made me love them played live. They even played some new material at the end which was right in line with where they started and absolutely out of this world. They’re most definitely back.
