I’m always on the lookout for popular songs that go through a good electro remix treatment because you know, playing Daft Punk can only get you so far with crowd recognition. Thankfully I got an email from Gigi Barocco the other day with this gem of a bootleg. Interestingly enough I already had a Bad Touch remix in my library that I completely forgot about, so I figured I’d do a little comparison. Turns out, there is no comparison. I wouldn’t even think of playing the one I had over Gigi’s. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to watch X-Files.

After 3 long months of listening to a snippet off Gigi Barocco’s SoundCloud, his massive remix of Pink Is Punk has finally been released. I’ve always been a huge fan of Gigi Barocco‘s work. I heard Puah for the first time a couple of years ago when The Bloody Beetroots played it and since then I’ve gotten just about every remix and single he’s put out. The guy is just unstoppable in every regard.

One of my favorite Gigi tracks just got an amazing remix treatment from Spencer & Hill. The lyrics on the remix are almost all intact which means It’s not quite as choppy as the original and they’ve added some subtle synth lines to give it a little extra kick.

Some of you may know this last track if you follow Justice closely. I had a minute long sample of this back in the day and was happy to see the full song posted on a blog earlier in the week.
