Missed another good release last week. Project Bassline’s latest EP on Cheap Thrills. Herve and Mele are both up on remixes for this one. Mele has done two separate remixes for the release. The first is has more dubstep influence and the alt remix is more bass intensive. Herve’s remix just attacks you with some phenomenal Jungle Step. Herve can truly do no wrong on a remix.

I don’t know why I didn’t see this when it was released a few days ago. I remember seeing Herve tweet about his collaboration with Fatboy Slim last month and thinking that whatever he was up too with Slim must have been good. In my opinion, the original doesn’t have much of a kick to it Herve’s Action Man Acid Flash Mix on the other hand is just what the doctor ordered (if your doctor ordered you to take a good dose of acid, that is).

Well it’s been a pretty crazy week. For those of you that don’t follow me on Twitter or Facebook, I’ve finally ordered t-shirts. The deal is that I’m only printing 100. Herve just released a nice little single called Zombies off his next mix album, Ghetto Bass 2. Ghetto Bass 1 was just a thing of beauty if you ask me, so I’ve been eagerly awaiting #2 for quite awhile now. Along with the Zombies single, Herve unleashed a brand new track called Hot! Drum Attack. As you would expect it has excellent drum work and a big nasty Herve drop that you’ll love.

It looks like Wiley decided to do a re-take on the classic White Town song Your Woman. The track drops February 21st, along with what other songs/remixes I haven’t a clue. I do know that Herve did a nice little re-work of it that hit NME today.

First week of 2010 wasn’t too bad. Lots of stuff from Ed Banger off their xmas promo and Danger making a big push with remixes before his EP is release.
