Unfortunately some bad news. As most of you may know by now I won’t have the new shirts in time for EDC. I thought the funds would be here by now (and they should have been), but circumstances beyond my control have gotten in the way. I’ve never been a fan of pre-orders either, since I don’t know exactly what the shirts will look like. I don’t want to promise one thing and deliver another. Another steller week around these parts! I know I downloaded at least 5 EP’s from Beatport which is a new record for me. Anyway, I’d like to tell you all that the new t-shirts are officially coming. I sent off all the info to the designer earlier this week to get things started. I’ll unveil the design in April and you’ll hopefully be able to pick them up at the end of May. I was talking with my friend a while back trying to figure out exactly what in a track makes me like it so much. We eventually nailed down to a few things and one of them was catchy lyrics. Sure, I do prefer a lot of non-lyrical bangers, but I’ll take a remix with a good lyrical hook any day (e.g. all older Designer Drugs remixes). Anyway, this new Kids At The Bar remixes fits the bar pretty perfectly remixing a track by The Limousines which takes it to the next generation with the internet now killing the video star. Kids At The Bar’s second release on Kill Pop Records will be dropping later next month and they have 4 new remixes lined up soon. So if the next few months feel a little heavy on Kids At The Bar, you’re welcome.

Kids At The Bar has become more and more one of my favorite artists to watch out for. They started raising to success with countless awesome remixes, much in the same way Designer Drugs did. Their debut EP was just released last week and I wasn’t disappointed when I picked it up over the weekend. The two tracks So We Can Party and Your Body On Me have been released before, and Exile may be the single on the release, Southpaw is by far my favorite track. I absolutely can’t wait to drop it in a set.

Wolfgang Gartner is out with his next release Illmerica. Teased since forever, Wolfgang says he put 3 weeks and 300 hours into making this beast. I think I still prefer the drop in Undertaker, but overall I’m enjoying Illmerica more as a whole. Wolfgang is also busy working on an album right now which I’m crazy stoked for since you hardly ever see albums from artists like him. Be sure to pick up this track on Beatport if you dig it.
