I honestly thought I was done posting In For The Kill remixes forever, but 2009′s track that just won’t stop being remixed is back for at least one more showing today. As far as the remix goes, it’s one of the best Danger remixes to date in my opinion. If you thought his recent remix of Acid Washed was great, just wait till you hit play on this baby. It makes me feel like I’m a really awesome 80′s movie and I get the hot chick in the end.

This little mixtape collaboration with Major Lazer & La Roux was announced a few days ago and just dropped this morning. I’m actually enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The Major Lazer side of things isn’t crazy overpowering La Roux’s vocals and In 4 The Kill Pon De Skream is a perfect example. I wonder if there was any daggering of La Roux involved in making this… or is that going too far?

So here’s my favorites of 2009 post. Not necessarily the best tracks released this year, but they’re among the most played for me. I’m not gonna comment on each one since I’ve probably already done it on the blog before. I will say that it’s been an absolutely crazy year as far as electronic music goes. 2008 couldn’t touch 2009 and I’m sure the same will be said next year. After all, we have the new Daft Punk album to look forward to!

La Roux is unofficially this years most remixed artist and it’s driving me crazy. Most of the remixes have been of Bulletproof and In For The Kill, however, DatA has wisely decided to remix a different song (thank god). I was really lovin’ Fred Falke’s remix, but I think DatA’s I’m Not Your Toy remix will be bumped up to #2 on my list cause of those nice electro beats.

Pretty good week as far as music goes. One thing that really drives me crazy though is that people just can’t stop remixing La Roux! Every week we get another remix popping out of the woodwork. Ah, Foamo. Another UK native that went from little known to ridiculously huge seemingly over night. I remember when he was first starting out JFK from MSTRKRFT gave him some props and after that I heard about him all over the place. Anyway, two new remixes to start the day off right.
