I know one of the things I always look forward to at the end of the year is the mix that Laidback Luke puts out. It generally encompasses the whole year of releases, but obviously it’ll be more heavy on tracks just recently released. He’s also done a mix for Mixmash which includes every single they’ve released this year. Pretty tough task, but Luke manages to pull out both mixes in spectacular fashion.

One of the great things about collaboration tracks like this is that it usually comes with a pretty good story on how it was made/named. This one is no different asSander van Doorn says “People sometimes mix me up with Luke, so in the studio, he was wearing a cap, we took a picture for Twitter asking, ‘Who’s Wearing The Cap?’ and that became the name of the track!”

The synth hits almost feels like something something Swedish House Mafia would do, but then it drops into a more bass mood more accustomed to Laidback Luke & Sander Van Doorn‘s stylings.

I wasn’t able to find a tracklist, but everyone is more than welcome to post what they know in the comments and I’ll build it up.

This year’s first EDC in Vegas ended only a few hours ago, but we’ve already got most of the live sets that aired on Sirius XM. Unfortunately they can’t air all the sets for obvious reasons, but I’m happy with what the put out (except for not releasing Boys Noize’s set). For those of you that couldn’t make it this year, myself included, this is as close as you’ll get to the real thing. Maybe just a bit closer if you throw a bunch of pictures up on your computer of girls in skimpy neon outfits with fishnet stockings and furry boots… but that’s entirely optional and may make you look a bit weird if you’re reading this in an office environment.

Note: For those asking, most of the other good sets (Boys Noize, Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia) were not broadcast on satellite radio like these. So don’t get your hopes up for them.
