Going a bit more old school on this one for some of you. Louis La Roche popped up a few days ago on SoundCloud with this absolutely brillant reconstruction of a classic DJ Falcon tune. It sounds almost exactly like the original, but re-sampled with in high quality samples which now makes it much easier to throw in a set full of newer tracks. Now if only DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter would make a few more tunes ‘Together’, life would be perfect.

I hope you guys have enjoyed looking at Chemical Jump this past year and a half because it’s all about to change, kinda. I started work on Chemical Jump v3.0 yesterday and while it isn’t a total redesign (keep the logo and basic layout for now) it’ll incorporate some cool new visual aspects. At this point, after yesterday’s disco post, if you still haven’t had enough french/disco house to satisfy your craving there just might be something wrong with you. But for those few who can never get enough, I did get the 7th Chemical Jump Guest Mix in the other day and it’s definitely something to groove to! The artist is actually one of those posted in the compilation yesterday, so I’ll leave the speculating to you guys until it goes up later this week.

Most of you have probably Ocelot‘s new single Beating Hearts. I’ve listened to the Blende remix pretty much non-stop after I first heard it and ever since then I’ve been waiting eagerly for more remixes. Well, today sees the release of the Beating Hearts Remixes EP which happens to contain another ridiculously good remix by Louis La Roche. I really can’t say which remix I enjoy more. I still have a place for the Blende remix, but Louis’ brings a whole different vibe to things.
