So here’s my favorites of 2009 post. Not necessarily the best tracks released this year, but they’re among the most played for me. I’m not gonna comment on each one since I’ve probably already done it on the blog before. I will say that it’s been an absolutely crazy year as far as electronic music goes. 2008 couldn’t touch 2009 and I’m sure the same will be said next year. After all, we have the new Daft Punk album to look forward to!

New N.A.S.A. video directed by Fluorescent Hill. This is what happens when your Photoshop documents come to life.

Soo happy when I read about this last night. One of my favorite things this year was N.A.S.A.‘s Spirit of Apollo album and now everyone gets a chance to remix it! This isn’t just one song like your normal remix contest, this is the ENTIRE album. You can grab every acapella and beat from every song and remix your heart out. The winner of the contest gets $1,000 in cash and even cooler is guaranteed a spot on N.A.S.A.’s upcoming remix album.

Mr. Oizo announced about a month ago that he was done with his N.A.S.A. remix and ever since then I’ve been waiting to hear what crazyness he’s added this time. The remix is definitely wild Mr. Oizo style and is very close to being my favorite N.A.S.A. remix. Props once again to the home of N.A.S.A. Squeak E. Clean.

Steve Aoki and The Aston Shuffle have both thrown down remixes for the world and now Treasure Fingers are gracing our ears with his take on the song. It’s smooth, sort of like the beginning of the Aston Shuffle remix, but definitely sets itself apart by sounding like it came straight out of a 70′s disco club.
