Pretty sure you all know I have a not so secret obsession with NT89. And even Burns for that matter. The song they did together starts off in your typical NT89 techno fashion and you almost think it’ll carry on that way the rest of the track, but once it hits that first drop so does your jaw. The release also features an outstanding remix by autoKratz which is the best thing since toaster ovens and one by Attaque which reminds me a bit of Gesaffelstein.

It’s time once again for another Chemical Jump Guest Mix! For this mix I’ve asked one of my favorite producers this year to lay down the 10th guest mix as only he can. Being from from Italy you might expect him to be producing music akin to the Crookers and Bloody Beetroots, but NT89 enjoys his own blend of modern techno with smooth synth lines that make you wanna groove till 5am in your grandparents basement with a single episode of The Cosby Show muted on loop. He’s that good. You’ll find plenty of surprises in the mix including new unreleased tracks from Highbloo, Mumbai Science, Style of Eye and of course of few of his own gems. Absolutely massive new tune coming from NT89 just yesterday. He dropped his cover of TWR72‘s (The Walk & Rogerseventytwo) track Tunnel. I enjoyed the original a lot and played it on several occations, but this 7 minute cover takes it into some serious next level territory. This isn’t your classic electro house tune that I normally post, no, this sounds more in the neighbourhood of if any one of the tracks on Boys Noize’s Super Acid Comp actually took acid.. if that’s even possible for a song to do..

I usually search through all my tracks on Sunday to pick some good older ones to play on Monday for the Ustream mix, so it’s no wonder this Late Bloomers series is yielding more tracks that I originally thought. I played a number of tracks by NT89 on Monday because I found this one and then came across a few others which I had forgot about. The drop on Onestopoil is so fulfilling even if it doesn’t last very long. I’m making a mental note right now to never overlook his stuff in 2011.

Some of you may know this last track if you follow Justice closely. I had a minute long sample of this back in the day and was happy to see the full song posted on a blog earlier in the week.
