If any track didn’t need a re-edit it would be this one. Herve‘s remix and radio edit absolutely destroy this track on their own. This new Blogula re-edit mixes things up a bit in the beginning, then brings Santigold into the picture rapping over the first drop. It’s sort of like what Herve did in his radio edit with Princess Superstar, but it just doesn’t have the same feeling to it. I’m sure I’ll warm up to it soon.

Van Scott has graciously sent me over some remixes of his project with Jad Cooper called Drlkt Freddie. The Airtight release is due in May with official remixes by Trevor Loveys, Tronik Youth and Dept. Sonic Truth did an unofficial remix which I’ve actually been favoring over the others at this point. Jad and Van have also done a new remix of Alexander Technique and Princess Superstar‘s Rock U Which will get an official release on DANR Music some time this summer.
