It’s really a shame to see good tracks go unnoticed for so long. So you can imagine I thought it was a bit strange when I saw A-Trak put Rogerseventytwo‘s 2 year old track Take Me Higher in his April chart. And then at the Neon Desert Music Festival I heard MSTRKRFT drop it and people went insane like it was some new a holy grail of disco house tracks. Later I found out that A-Trak was finally giving the track a proper release on Fools Gold Records and it all made sense. The new release includes a slightly tweaked version of You Take Me Higher, two more originals and a remix by NT89 which sounds like it could be an original techno track itself if not for the vocoded voice sample.

I also wanted to throw in the original version of the track from 2 years ago. Not much has changed, but you’ll be able to notice subtle differences including having the lyrics repeat nearly non-stop throughout the track, unlike the new version.
