I’m not big on posting tracks without being able to download them, but this is one of those that you listen to on repeat over and over again, then go out to buy the second it’s available. Steed Lord‘s lastest track off their soon to be released Eddie House EP has got to be one of my all time favorites from them. I didn’t really expect to hear such a good classic house sound from Steed Lord and now that it’s here, I don’t know if I want them to stop!

My good buddies Steed Lord released their 2nd full-length studio album, Heart II Heart, last Tuesday. The album features a few tracks that were released earlier this year as singles with amazing remixes, and a few brand new tracks which are equally bangin’. The one that caught me is called Love & Religion and I absolutely love it. It samples a bit of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song then turns it into a synthy ride of hard electro beats.

Just a few quick updates today regarding Remix Monday. First, a few people have requested more time to complete remixes since they work on them in their off time, so from now on Remix Monday will 4 weeks instead of 2. Second, I’ve put together a new site with the help of some awesome code by Lee Martin over at SoundCloud. To upload a remix to Remix Monday in the future, simply visit remixmonday.com, login with your SoundCloud account, and upload your remix! This will allow all the remixes to be put in a single place for everyone to listen to. You’re more than welcome to upload your Leave The World Behind remixes there, but I won’t be officially requiring that until the next competition.

Steed Lord just unleashed their newest single called Vanguardian yesterday. The EP features remixes from Keith & Supabeatz, Religion and Lazy Ants. I’ve given the Religion remix so many plays already I could probably hum the entire thing from memory. As a little gift to share in honor of the release, Steed Lord has kindly sent over their Homicide House mix in glorious 320. If you haven’t heard the power of their Homicide House mixes, I highly suggest you check out the Starry Eyed edit I posted a while back.

Steed Lord has kindly sent me over this exclusive new remix to share with you all. I really didn’t think this song needed anymore remixes but Steed Lord has proved me wrong once again. They’ve delivered a bouncy, chopped up remix that can only be fully appreciated if you have your speakers turned up to 11.

They’ve also been hard at work this year on their new EP called Heart II Heart. The first single Bed Of Needles is set to drop in two weeks with remixes from SonicC, AudioFun and AKS & Syndaesia. Expect the AKS & Syndaesia remix to kick some serious dubstep ass.
