Inquisitive sent me over this rad edit of Laidback Luke and Steve Aoki‘s new track Turbulence yesterday and I couldn’t help but post it. The track isn’t due out for another week or so, but if you can’t wait until then this edit will more than tide you over. It’s got all the elements of the original plus a little Inquisitive flare on top. And thankfully Lil’ Jon isn’t yelling ridiculousness throughout the track so you’ll actually be able to play it out and even enjoy it!

Another Tuesday with another great release. I wasn’t a big fan of the original Brrrat!, for some reason I just never took well to it. However, these remixes that were just released today are a whole different story. The Bart B More, BeatauCue, and SonicC remixes are among the best of the bunch with BeatauCue’s having a down right nasty drop which isn’t really their style but fits the remixes amazingly well. The SonicC remix also adds flame to the fire with some warping and emphasis on heavy sounds. I highly suggest you pick those three if you’re looking for something to play other than the original.

I hesitated posting this Armand Van Helden and Steve Aoki track yesterday because the original just wasn’t moving me. However, when I heard His Majesty Andre‘s remix, I immediately got up at started dancing. Okay, I really just went to take out the trash, but I had the track in my head the whole way down the driveway, so that’s gotta count for something! I also suggest picking up the highly enjoyable Will Bailey remix.

December has turned out to be a pretty crazy month. Last week pretty spur of the moment the forum was launched and I’m pleased to say it already has over 1000 posts! Steve Aoki‘s new joint I’m In The House got released on Tuesday with remixes from The Count and Gigi Barocco. I just listened to the Gigi remix and actually prefer it over this one, but I gotta hand it to Herve for absolutely murdering this track. You can always tell it’s gonna be a good remix when they add extra words to the track like “Burning Down Your House”. Props to LA Friendly for the heads up.

I really don’t even know where to start with this track, but I think Travis over at Bigstereo summed it up perfectly. I do, however, think this is the beginning of the end for electronic music. At least in the capacity we all know and love today. It may take a few more years, but the peak has come and gone.
