It’s not every day artists give out tracks for free, but it is becoming increasingly more common. And Treasure Fingers just so happened to gave out a brand new track of his the other day. After doing some digging because I was hooked on the sample, I found out the track is loosely based on Joey Negro’s edit of a 1979 track by Captain Sky called Moon Child. Although as you can tell with Treasure Fingers track, he’s added a bit lot more groovyness and kicked the funk level up to 11. This is definitely a good song to play if you notice a cute girl in the front row of a show you’re playing. Just point, make eye contact, start singing, and she’ll be yours by the second breakdown.

Anybody still play Avicii & Sebastien Drums‘ hit My Feelings For You from last year? Well, you probably won’t after hearing this remix. I almost couldn’t think of anyone better to remix this track than Treasure Fingers. I heard him drop this a few weeks ago when I saw him live and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. He takes the slightly hard edge of the track away and adds in his on special recipe of sugar, spice, and a little bit of funky bass guitar.

It’s been an absolutely crazy week all seeming to stem around Coachella news. The lineup announcement, bands reuniting, and all the camping passes selling out in only 2 hours.. Some of you my recognize this last track. It’s actually an old remix JFK did and briefly uploaded to his myspace a little over 2 years ago. Do to legal reasons he wasn’t able to release it then, but now it seems all is well as he’s given it away freely in glorious 320kbps. I can’t even begin to explain how crazy busy week this week has been. If you sent me something on SoundCloud I promise I’m not ignoring you! I just haven’t had enough time to sit down and really listen to anything yet. Hopefully I’ll have some free time soon to answer emails and listen to all the great stuff I’ve been sent.
