I’ve made a few minor changes to the blog over the past few days. Nothing too crazy and mostly just boring backend stuff, but the most noticeable new addition is the Facebook like button at the bottom of each post. You have to be viewing the specific post to see it (I didn’t like the way it looked on the homepage, made it seem messy) so If you’re logged into Facebook, go right ahead and like away.

Ocelot has finally released the last remix on their Our Time EP. I’ve personally enjoyed every remix of Our Time and seriously can’t wait for the album to drop. If it’s anything close to Our Time, it’ll be a good time.

I can’t even begin to explain how crazy busy week this week has been. If you sent me something on SoundCloud I promise I’m not ignoring you! I just haven’t had enough time to sit down and really listen to anything yet. Hopefully I’ll have some free time soon to answer emails and listen to all the great stuff I’ve been sent.

Treasure Fingers are finally back with a fresh remix of Groove Armada‘s I Won’t Kneel. I’m not completely blown away by it, but I am really enjoying the synth and drum work. Though it is strange to hear a remix of this without any handclaps after listening to The Bloody Beetroots remix so much.

Soo happy when I read about this last night. One of my favorite things this year was N.A.S.A.‘s Spirit of Apollo album and now everyone gets a chance to remix it! This isn’t just one song like your normal remix contest, this is the ENTIRE album. You can grab every acapella and beat from every song and remix your heart out. The winner of the contest gets $1,000 in cash and even cooler is guaranteed a spot on N.A.S.A.’s upcoming remix album.

Steve Aoki and The Aston Shuffle have both thrown down remixes for the world and now Treasure Fingers are gracing our ears with his take on the song. It’s smooth, sort of like the beginning of the Aston Shuffle remix, but definitely sets itself apart by sounding like it came straight out of a 70′s disco club.

Just got this in the mail. Kid Sister apparently did a cover of I’ll House You by the Jungle Brothers for a Reebok promo. It must be good since it’s produced by Treasure Fingers.

Designer Drugs are at it again with another solid remix of Dark Circles by Avian X. Is it just me or does this remix barrow heavily from their Treasure Fingers remix? Anyway, I’ve never heard of Avian X before today, but apparently 80,000+ people have according to her myspace friend count. And other than being drop dead gorgeous, she actually has some pretty cool tracks.
